Important Homebrewer Dates:

  • Registration begins on Sunday, Jan 23

  • Registration ends on Saturday, Feb 12

  • Submissions open Monday, April 18 - Wednesday, April 20

  • Homebrew Festival Saturday, April 23

 
Style: Wheat 
American Wheat, Hefeweizen, Dunkelweizen, Weizenbock, Belgian Witbier, Fruit Wheat Beer, or Wheatwine

 

Rules: 

  • 50 Teams of no more than four people to a team.

  • Official entries competing for the 1st or 2nd place prize must be a wheat style beer and dropped off at Fam’s Brewing Co. April 18-20; 3 bottles of the submitted beer for judging.

  • All submissions must be bottled unless permitted to submit a keg.

  • Need to provide style, ABV, and other pertinent requirements…special ingredients.

Fam's Brewing Co. Provides:

  • Tents

  • Tables

  • Tasting Cups

  • Ice

 

Participants Supplies:

  • Chairs and beer.

  • Participants may also bring additional beers including ones that are not wheat.

1st Place (Selected by Judges):

  • winning beer will get to help brew a full batch of the recipe on our pro system and have a release party

  • Beer Engineer Supply gift certificate

  • Fam's Brewing Co. gift certificate
